The storyline The Family portrait of the Girl by Khushwant Singh involves the story of the author great relationship with his grandmother. The author's mother was a deeply religious female who was incredibly kind hearted. She epitomised purity and peace of mind which is very well created as an expanse of pure white colored serenity. Even though she was not beautiful bodily, she owned deep religious beauty. The girl took great delight in feeding birds and animals.
The storyline begins with the narrator describing how outdated his grandmother was. The thought of the author's old grandmother being young and pretty, at the begining of years of her life, elevated a discord in the mind of the author. Her curly hair was white as snow and your woman had a small stoop in her back.
When Singh was a child and his father and mother were apart he was raised by his grandmother whom used to wake him up and acquire him looking forward to school. When performing this kind of daily chore, she accustomed to sing prayers which the lady wanted him to learn simply by heart but also in vain. She'd walk with him to and from his school. On their in the past, they would toss chappatis for the village puppies.
When his parents completed in the metropolis Singh went to stay in the city with her. This was a turning point inside the relationship this individual shared with her. He disliked many things educated in the school. She can no longer support him together with his lessons. A tiny gap got developed together which had not been very dominant. She didn't accompany him to school any kind of long.
As time goes on, Singh traveled to the college or university with which concluded the last chain of add-on which kept them with each other....
